General Conference Registration:

• ONLINE: Go to the MEMBER AREA LOGIN page. Existing Alliance members, enter your email address and password, then proceed to the ONLINE STORE to register. If you’re not yet an Alliance member, you’ll need to go through the New Visitor Registration process. Then proceed to the ONLINE STORE to sign up for the Annual Conference.
• MAIL: Download our Registration Form and send it to the Alliance Office with payment.
• PHONE: Call the Alliance Message Line at 855-236-8331, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm, Eastern time.

Cancellation Policy: if you cancel your registration by May 7, you’ll receive a refund, less a $50 administrative fee. For cancellations after May 7, you’ll receive a refund, less a $250 cancellation fee.

Deposit: Payment for one night’s lodging is due at time of booking the reservation. Final payment is due at checkout. Credit cards accepted are: MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. A total of 15.05% is added to all room rates for government taxes and fees.

Cancellation of reservations:
You must cancel a hotel reservation more than 24 hours prior to arrival to receive a refund of your deposit. Cancellations less than 24 hours of arrival forfeit the deposit for one night’s lodging. There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures or no-shows.

Additional lodging nights: Come early or stay on after the Alliance Conference to enjoy all that Tucson has to offer! You can stay at the Hilton at the special group rate for up to three days before and/or after (subject to availability).

Travel Information:

You can fly in to the Tucson International Airport (TUS), (23 miles) which has direct service from 15 major cities and connecting flights from most others. Distance from hotel: 23 miles
Drive time: 30 – 45 mins
Follow interstate 10 west to Ina Road. Exit Ina Road, turn right and head east to Oracle Rd (about 5.3 miles). Turn left onto Oracle Road (north) and continue 2.5 miles to El Conquistador Way. Turn right and the Resort is on your right

Or you can fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), (100 miles) which has direct service from most major cities.

Drive time: 1h 30mins
Exit airport and follow signs to interstate 10 east to Tucson. Exit right off of I-10 and make a left hand turn onto Tangerine Road, follow Tangerine Road to Oracle Road (13.5 miles), turn right onto Oracle Road.  Turn south on Oracle Road  3.76 miles to El Conquistador Way. Turn left and the Resort is on your right.

The Hilton El Conquistador Resort is providing transfer service to/from the airport specifically for the AFMTE 2012 Annual Conference.  Cost for the transfer service is $50.00 per person each way for 2 or less people per vehicle; and $25.00 per person each way for 3 or more people per vehicle.  This includes tax, but not driver gratuity.

Charges for transportation provided by Hilton will be charged to your guestroom.

If you wish to take advantage of the Hilton transportation option, the AFMTE Transportation Request Form needs to be completed and emailed to the resort 5 days prior to your arrival.

Additional transportation options from the Tucson airport to the Hilton El Conquistador Resort are:

• car rentals
• cab service:  approximately $65.00 excluding driver gratuity
• shuttle service provided by Arizona Stagecoach(www.azstagecoach.com):  similar to Super Shuttle, a multi-stop shuttle where the Hilton El Conquistador Resort is the last stop on the way from the airport and the first stop on the way to the airport.  Currently their cost is approximately $50.00 per person each way excluding driver gratuity.
• For those driving to the Conference, on-site parking at the hotel is FREE, valet parking is $14 per night.

Please note:  the Hilton El Conquistador Resort transfer service needs to be arranged in advance.  Drivers and vehicles are scheduled based on guest arrival/departure information and are not available on-call at the airport.
