Have FUN while getting your CE hours! This is a HANDS-ON class, where you will give and receive treatments all weekend. Workshop Concentration: The low back and leg pain workshop focuses on “The Foundation”: the sacral ligaments, hip socket, psoas, and knee and ankle pain. This is a multi-disciplinary approach to chronic pain. We will explore myofascial assessments, passive and active fascial stretching, muscle energy techniques, hydrotherapies, cross fiber friction, and self-care. Healing is a partnership between the client and the therapist. Avoid burnout; learn to help your clients help themselves! These workshops will help you to: * Refine your touching skills and gain new confidence. * Teach your clients to work with you during therapy. * Eliminate chronic pain by working below the client’s pain threshold. * Slow down, focus your attention, and be more effective with less effort.
