This is the easiest way to complete 7 hours of your license requirements. You can take one or all of the core requirements! All classes are independent and cover issues and changes in our growing profession. Schedule of Events Medical Errors 9:00 am – 11:00 am Aids Education 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Ethics 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Laws and Rules Review 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Network with your colleagues, get peer feedback, and enjoy a discussion round table focused on the legal and ethical considerations of practicing massage therapy. Issues covered include: client/therapist relationships, transference and counter transference, working with the disabled and differently abled populations, appropriate touch and draping issues, filing a complaint against an unethical or dangerous practitioner, and preventing medical errors. There will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion.
