General Description about the award and why it was established:
The President’s award was established to recognize outstanding service by a member or members in support of the Alliance Mission and Goals. The President is authorized to choose recipients at their discretion.
2017: Nancy Dail
Nancy Dail has been our Conference Committee Chair since 2010. We consistently receive high evaluations for these events. Nancy puts in a tremendous amount of time to make this possible. She is a joy to work with! She manages the committee brilliantly — and is always kind, respectful, and inclusive. Plus, she is willing to jump in and help whenever needed. We would not have out Educational Congresses without her vision, guidance, and support.

2015: Becky Blessing
Becky Blessing was instrumental in the creation of two of the AFMTE foundational documents, the MTBOK – Recalibration and the Core Competencies for Teachers. Becky’s dedication and resourcefulness helped bring these projects to completion.
