Being ethical is not limited simply to knowing and following ethical codes, laws and regulations. Ethical behavior also involves striving to bring the highest values into one's work and aspiring to do one's best in all interactions. The Ethical Principles Overview course introduces the basic concepts necessary in discussing ethics for hands-on practitioners. The Ethical Principles Overview course includes reading Chapter One of The Ethics of Touch (the text is purchased separately) and answering 20 test questions (e.g.: multiple choice, matching, true/false). It meets the NCBTMB 2-hour continuing education requirement for Ethics Standard V: Roles and Boundaries.
