Educational Resource Directory for Massage Therapy Teachers

The Teacher’s Education Standards Project (NTESP) developed guidelines for the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to be a quality provider of massage therapy education.  Meeting these standards will require time, training and access to resources.  The Alliance for Massage Therapy Education has provided a searchable database of educational resources that massage teachers can utilize to help them achieve competency in the NTESP standards.  This database of resources has been compiled by a group of massage therapy education professionals.  A variety of media (e.g. websites, books, suggested trainings) have been included that relate to each of the NTESP standards.

MassageTherapyLicense.org

MassageTherapyLicense.org was founded to help students, career changers and recent graduates more efficiently navigate their way through the Massage Therapist License requirements in their state as well as provide support and resources along the way. The majority of states regulate Massage Therapists and they provide all the information needed on their respective regulatory agency website, which is very helpful. However, this information can often times be tricky as well as time consuming to locate. MassageTherapyLicense.org’s mission is to offer a simple and efficient way to navigate the Massage Therapist license or certification requirements in each state by providing direct navigation to those Massage Therapy licensure requirements, such as education requirements and the application forms.
