Now that everyone is back home and rested, we’re excited to announce that the 2019 Educational Congress was a success!
With over 150 people coming out to talk about therapeutic massage and bodywork education, we thought we would share some of the attendees’ responses to the event and hope this showcases why you should attend the 2021 Educational Congress!

Our mission is to create an environment where professionals can come together and share their thoughts, feelings and ideas in a no-judgment zone. So hearing a statement like this really warms our hearts and lets us know we’re doing just that.

As a massage therapy conference by and for massage therapy educators, this is the main goal of every conference we hold. We want to talk about topics that are influential in today’s therapeutic massage and bodywork education conversation, and that is the aim of every speaker, breakout session and discussion.
Our conference operates with the idea to allow your conversations and discussions to bring forth important and educational connections. Whatever information you get from our conference, you should be able to take it home and apply it to your daily practice in whatever form that may be.

Here at AFMTE, we can guarantee you won’t find another Educational Congress like we have. It’s one-of-a-kind in its choice of speakers, discussions and break-out sessions. We tackle current events in the industry and explore ways to solve problems.

There is so much to learn and implement when it comes to our profession. And giving professionals like you the opportunity to talk about this is the basis for our thriving community of massage therapy educators.

All in all, our conference is a place to connect, create and implement new and exciting ideas. This year we were able to do just that and, according to attendees, provide a great stay and great food the entire time. A Look to the Future
We want you to know that we value the input we receive. Our goal is to take the suggestions we received from the post-conference surveys and apply those to creating our next conference, one that we hope will exceed everyone’s expectations and lead to the most successful Educational Congress ever in 2021.
Keep a look out for our “Save the Date” announcement early in 2020. It will be in July of 2021, but we don’t have the exact date or location locked in. We also sent you a survey for your suggestions of topics. We will be collating that information and looking to find appropriate speakers.
